10/22/19 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity. Today is Tuesday, October 22nd.
  • Congratulations to Ms. Henry's top Membean performers this week who completed additional Membean minutes: Michael Abdulah and Lashawn Powell. Keep up the great work!
  • Congratulations to Mrs. Walsh-Hilf's High Membean Achievers for this past week who went above and beyond the required 45 minutes. Erin Simpson, Mariah Al-Almin, Aniyah Streeter, Quisean Berry, keep up the good work and the growth mindset as you expand your vocabulary.
  • Attention Student Council members! Our meeting for today is cancelled. We will resume our meetings on Tuesday, November 12th. If you signed up to work the Halloween Trick or Treat night, you will receive a reminder note by the end of the week. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Latessa in Room 296.
  • There will be a short meeting for anybody in grades 9-12 and not in a fall sport that is interested in trying out for boys basketball on Wednesday October 23 at 2:20 in the Little Theatre. The meeting will be about 10 minutes and will go over tryout procedures. See Coach Kane in Room 227 with any questions.
  • The band and orchestra will host their 9th Annual Pasta Dinner on Wednesday, October 23 before the indoor marching band concert from 4:00-7:00pm in the Euclid High School cafeteria. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students, and includes the concert. The marching band will present their indoor marching band concert in the East gym at 7pm following the pasta dinner! Admission is $3 if you come to the concert only.
  • Anyone interested in playing Baseball 8th-12th grade, there will be a meeting Thursday October 24th at 2:30pm in Coach Zeffer's classroom 293.
  • Basketball Try Outs for Girls basketball will be Friday October 25th from 2:30 - 6pm in West Gym. Please sign up in room 394 with Coach Wilson. You must have a physical and complete Final Forms. Coaches will assist with final forms.
  • Do you like anime, kpop, and other things of that nature? Or even interested in learning more about popular culture from the Asian continent? Then join the Asian Pop Culture Club! The APCC will meet every other Tuesday, 2:30 to 4:00, in the choir room starting October 29. In this club we will discuss topics from popular asian music as well as anime and Korean dramas. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Sarah Renata Strothers. You can most likely reach her in the choir room. If she isn’t there, leave her a message on her desk with your contact information and she will get back to you as soon as possible. Hope to see you there!
