10/25/19 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity. Today is Friday, October 25th.
  • Join us tomorrow, Saturday, October 26th at Central Middle School for the Dodgeball Tournament. Doors open at 10:30 and teams can complete their registrations and get team info then. The games will start at 11:30. If you didnt get a chance to turn your form or team money in, don't worry. You can register onsite. We will have prizes for our winning teams, concession available, and have a good time. If you're not on a team, consider coming out to support and watch the games. We will see you tomorrow at Central Middle School.
  • Attention all EHS Juniors and Seniors. Are you interested in visiting a college campus and getting a firsthand look at what college life might have to offer? Consider joining us as we travel to Central State University for their college preview day. The visit is scheduled for November 9, 2019. If interested or if you have questions, please see Dr. Mines (371) or Mrs. Davis (317). We do have to pre-register for the event so we need the permission slips back ASAP. Stop by and grab your permission slip TODAY!
  • The Euclid Public Library invites all students to register and participate in our after school programs, including our new Homework Help & Activity program. Participating in library programs will allow you to enter the library before 4:00 p.m. If you are waiting for a ride or just want to hang out with your friends between 1:30-4:00 p.m., we ask all students to please wait in the garden area. Helping you achieve your academic goals and ensuring your safety is important to us. If you have any questions or want to register for a program, please call the library at 216-261-5300. 
  • Try Outs for Girls basketball will be today from 2:30 - 6pm in the West Gym. Please sign up in room 394 with Coach Wilson. You must have a physical and complete Final Forms. Coaches will assist with final forms.
  • Attention Students interested in joining the swim team. There will be an informational meeting on Friday November 1 in the Little Theatre for both middle school swim team and varsity swim team. You must have a current physical on final, be registered on Final Forms and be academically eligible.
  • Attention all EHS homerooms, how is your homeroom doing in the Turkey Day Food Drive Contest? Are YOU in the running for a free Chick-Fil-A breakfast? If you look around and don't see any items in your homeroom, don't worry, there is still time. Please take a look at the flyer posted about the event and consider getting involved and brining in something to help another family have a Happy Thanksgiving. This competition will run thru November 22. Teachers, if you need a donation box or have items and want them picked up, please email Dr. Mines or Mrs. Davis. We thank everyone for your support. Also consider joining us for our Paint Fundraiser this Friday (please check your emails for more info).
  • Do you like anime, KPop, and other things of that nature? Or are you interested in learning more about popular culture from the Asian continent? Then join the Asian Pop Culture Club. The APCC will meet every Tuesday, 2:30 to 4:00, in the choir room starting October 29. In this club we will discuss topics from popular Asian music, as well as, anime and Korean dramas. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Strothers by email or you can most likely reach her in the choir room. If she isn’t there, leave her a message on her desk with your contact information and she will get back to you as soon as possible. Check out the flyers posted around the school!
