09/09/16 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School, where we are standing up with Panther PRIDE.  Today is Friday, September 9th 
  • Congratulations to this week’s Activity Spotlight Culture Club!  Look for the Spotlight posters around the building, and congratulate those members listed.
  • There will be an informational meeting for all those students who are interested in participating in Fall play this year on Monday, September 12th, at 2:30. The meeting will go over audition guidelines, along with details about the play and the schedule for rehearsals and the production.  Guides will be available in the library for students to read prior to the meeting.
  • If you enjoy knowing fun facts and unusual trivia, playing Trivia Crack or watching Jeopardy then the Academic Challenge Team may be right for you. We participate in several competitions throughout the Cleveland area and will compete on the Academic Challenge TV program this year.  Our first meeting will be Tuesday September 13th, at 2:30 in Room 337.The marching band and orchestra are hosting a fundraiser to Fun and Stuff in Macedonia on Friday, September 16.  Tickets are $20 and can be purchased in the band room.  Admission includes unlimited laser tag, Putt-Putt golf, go-carts, rock climbing, and much more!  The bus will leave at 5:30pm and return at 10pm.  All staff and students are invited to attend! 
  • All Juniors and Seniors starting Wednesday, September 14th we will have colleges coming to visit Euclid HS.  Some of the colleges coming in September are Mercyhurst, Kent State on Sept. 14th; Ashland on Sept. 19; and John Carroll on Sept. 20.  Please check your Naviance account for the various colleges, their days and times of visit.  If you are having trouble viewing your Naviance account please see your Guidance Counselor.
  • Also, the Y.O.U Jobs for Ohio’s Graduates program is now accepting students for this school year.  The program is looking for 35 students to be in a work readiness program that meets 2 days a week after school.  Even if you have other commitments after school, the program can work around your schedule.  If you are willing to commit to the program you are guaranteed a Y.O.U summer job.  If you are interested or have any questions please see Ms. Robinson in room 345.
  • Attention Seniors: if you are planning on studying business, education, athletic training, graphic design, or similar majors, the Cleveland Browns Scholarship is open for applications and is due on October 1st.  Please see College Now in Room 289 for more information.  If you are planning on going to College next fall and have started thinking about how you are going to pay for it, please see College Now in Room 289 to talk about financial aid and completing the FAFSA, which can be started October 1st.
