09/16/16 Announcements

• Good morning Euclid High School, where we are standing up with Panther PRIDE.  Today is Friday, September 16^th.  
  
• To stay in the library during IE, you must sign up in the library in advance on the day you want to stay.  You must then report to IE on time and stay for the entire period.  Coming in late is considered a tardy, and leaving early is a cut.  As is the case any time you come to the library, you must sign in when you arrive.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Corfman or Ms. Mack.
• Attention Juniors and Seniors!  Want to be a part of EHS Royalty?  Homecoming Court applications can be picked up from Mrs. Latessa in Room 296.  Applications are due by Wednesday, September 21 at 2:30 p.m.
• Homecoming tickets can be purchased at the ticket office in the E-room from 9:30 - 12:30 and 1:30 - 3:30 daily.
• Attention SAVE Club! If you are planning to attend the Wildwood fall clean-up this Saturday, September 17 from 10am-12noon, please see Mr. Young in the planetarium for a medical release form required by the Metroparks for our participation. Please return your permission slips and medical release form to Mr. Young today if you plan to go.
• GSA will be meeting this today in Room 169.  Straight Allies welcome !
• The marching band and orchestra are hosting a fundraiser to Fun ‘n Stuff in Macedonia on Friday, September 16.  Tickets are $20 and can be purchased in the band room.  Admission includes unlimited laser tag, Putt-Putt golf, go-carts, rock climbing, and much more!  The bus will leave at 5:30pm and return at 10pm.  All staff and students are invited to attend!
• There will be a parent meeting on Tuesday September 20 at 7:00 p.m. in the Little Theater, for all 8th graders interested in attending the Washington D.C. trip this year.
• Culture Club is sponsoring a Multicultural Fair on Wednesday September 21st at the Euclid Public Library from 3 to 4:30 pm We will have vendor tables of various cultural information.  Our EHS dance team will perform African dance and drumming.  Please join us!
• Reminder to all Junior and Seniors.  We have more colleges coming to visit Euclid next week.  Monday - Tiffin and Ashland University, Tuesday - Theil College and John Carroll University, Wednesday - Walsh University, and Thursday - Spelman College in Atlanta, GA.  Remember to register for your college visit through Naviance.  If you have any difficulties registering please see your Guidance Counselor or Mrs. Payne in the College Credit Plus/Career Tech office, Rm. 232.
• In Sports...
• The 8th Grade Euclid Blue volleyball players played a great match against Mentor Memorial last night by competing in three games. During the match, the girls had incredible serves, net play, and digs. Ladies - practice today will start at 2:35. You must be in the gym and dressed by 2:35.
• Girls Basketball meeting. Any girl interested in playing basketball this year is welcome to attend an informational meeting Wednesday September 21st at 2:35 in the E-Room. Grades 8-12 are welcome to sign up. If you have any questions please see Coach Bowers in room103.
• The Cross Country Team is in need of girls. Please come see Coach Nosse in the boy’s gym to get information if you are interested.
