10/08/18 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Monday, October 8th.
  • The Library/Media Center is closed today except for study halls.
  • Congratulations to Mrs. Walsh-Hilf's High Membean Achievers: Destini Tucker, Shalia Marks, Legacy Pratt, and Lauren Johnson.  Congratulations to the most improved Membean Achiever this week Joseph Kruzyk! Keep working hard and showing the growth mindset!
  • Attention Student Council members! Our next meeting is Tuesday, October 9 at 2:20 p.m. in Room 296. We will be discussing the upcoming Blood Drive. If you are interested in working the Blood Drive, you need to be at this meeting. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Latessa or Mrs. Pollack.
  • Spanish club will meet Tuesday, October 9 at 2:20 in room 229.  Come with craft supplies to share.
  • Attention SAVE Environmental Club! We will meet this Tuesday October 9th at 2:30 in room 391. We will paint mini-pumpkins and plan a fall hike. See Mr. Young or Mrs. Spivey if you have any questions.
  • Attention all 10th graders and registered 11th graders qualifying for the National Merit Scholarship. Just a reminder, that the PSAT is this Wednesday, October 10th, 1st-4th periods. Make sure to get your testing room location from your homeroom teacher prior to Wednesday. Testing starts promptly at 7:30am. Please arrive to school on time and have your photo ID. Additionally, students that will miss 4th period lunch due to testing, will report to the cafeteria for 5A lunch then the auditorium the second half. After lunch you will report to your 6th period class. Attention teachers: The bell system will be inactive during testing. Please make sure to utilize you cell phones or watches for class exchange.
  • Attention anyone interested in the cast, crew, or pit of Big Show. There will be short informational meeting to announce the show on Wednesday, October 10th at 2:20 in the choir room!  Please plan to attend so we can tell you about all the new and exciting things happening for the 2019 Big Show!
  • Attention all students interested in the HBCU College Tour Scheduled for March 2019, if you are interested, please turn in your permission form to Dr. Mines in room 371 ASAP. Deposits can also be made in room 371. Please remember cash or money orders ONLY for the deposit (no checks or credit card payments will be accepted). Deposits are due by October 15th so that we can secure and confirm the trip. If you have any questions, please stop by and see Dr. Mines in room 371.
  • It's time to pre-order your yearbook! Copies of the 2019 yearbook are only 35 dollars before December 20th. You can reserve your copy online now. The price will go up after Winter Break! Senior Recognition Ads are also available. See your English teacher or stop by Room 298 for ordering instructions.
  • The Orchestra and Band will be selling Florida Citrus now through October 31st!  You may purchase oranges, grapefruit, apples, and an assortment of Holiday chocolates and nuts!  Find a band or orchestra member or stop by the band room to order your citrus!
  • The training clinic for all students interested in trying out for next seasons Dance and Flag team will be on Saturday, November 3rd from 9am-1pm in the auditorium.  If you are interested in trying out, please sign up in the band.
