10/25/18 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Thursday, October 25th.
  • The results for the first contest of the Ohio Math League are in. Congratulations to Jeremy Morton and Roummell Harris who tied for first place. Nate Ahragbedey was third. Evan Botzki was fourth. Ashawn Berry and Tosh Phoenix tied for fifth. Isabel Baca was the highest scoring 10th graders. Jeremey Morton passed up Alex Bowman, and is now in 8th place on the Career list. Ashaw Berry scored his 100th career point. The next contest will be Nov 20. See Mr. Zucca if you have any questions.
  • Congratulations to the top readers on team Jaguar in the 40 Book Challenge: Michaila Beufort read 40 books, Jalen Fisher read 10 books, Daija Mitchell read 10 books, York Eberhardt read 8 books, and Angel Randle read 8 books. Together team Jaguar has read over 400 books with an average of 4 books per student. Continue to read for 30 minutes at home each night Jaguars and work hard towards your goal of 40 books! Keep up the great work!
  • Euclid Yogis!  This Friday let's meet for yoga!  Bring your mat, bring your mind, bring your joy!  Be there on  Friday!
  • Any student interested in joining the wrestling team should report to the wrestling room for conditioning practice we will meet this week after school Monday-Friday from 3pm-5pm.
  • Girls Basketball Try-outs will be this Friday at 2:30 in west gym.  You must register and have a completed physical to try-out.  If you need help with registration come to open gym this Wednesday at 6pm in west gym and we can help you register.
  • Hey seniors! Do you want a senior quote in the yearbook?  Order forms are available through your English teacher or in the media center.  Please return them to 298 to secure your quote!
  • The band and orchestra are sponsoring a fundraiser at Fun and Stuff in Macedonia on Friday, October 26 from 6pm-10pm.  Tickets can be purchased in the band room and if you need transportation, a bus will be provided that leaves at 5:30pm.  The cost is $20 and includes laser tag, go-carts, golf, roller skating, bumper boats, and much more.
  • All students who paid a deposit for the HBCU College Fair, please stop by 371 to pick up your deposit. Permission slips are due today for juniors and seniors interested in the free trip planned for Saturday, Nov. 3 to Central State University's College Preview Day.  This is an ALL DAY trip so plan accordingly.
  • Congratulations to the orchestra for an outstanding performance at last nights Pasta Dinner and to the marching band for a great Concert! You make Euclid proud! A reminder to all band members to pick up your audition music for concert band chair placement in the band room!
  • Attention any student interested in auditioning for the Pantherettes, the dance and flag twirling unit of the marching band, there will be a training clinic on Saturday Nov. 3 from 9-1pm in the auditorium. Please sign up in the band room if you are interested in attending.
