10/22/18 Announcements

  • Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Have Integrity.  Today is Monday, October 22nd.
  • Congratulations to Mrs. Walsh-Hilf's High Membean Achievers: Destini Tucker, Evin Harris, Lauren Johnson, Sadye Penny, Amarianna Duke, Damia Carson, Linnajah Russell! Keep working hard and demonstrating a Growth MIndset!
  • Cheerleading Tryouts start today and run through Friday from 4:30pm-6:00pm at the Indoor Track.  Please bring a current physical, current grade report, and practice attire.
  • Any student interested in joining the wrestling team should report to the wrestling room for conditioning practice we will meet after school Monday-Friday from 3pm-5pm.
  • Attention Student Council members-there will be no meeting this week due to our Blood Drive. The following members should stop in to Room 296 today to pick up their blood drive assignments from Mrs. Latessa: Ashley Eatman, Kobe Patrick, Daade Pack, Da'Shanel Nichols, Skylar Jacobs, Symone Smith, Haley Santos, Aaliyah Davis, Alana Thigpen, Faith Jones, La'Nisha Givens, Olivia Augustine, Josh Cerjan, Ja'Niya Gilner, and Marcellus Ingram.
  • The next Educators Rising meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 23 at 2:30 in room 129A. Please plan to stay until 3:30.
  • All students that are members of NSHSS, we will have a meeting after school tomorrow, Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 2:25pm in room 321.  If you received a t-shirt at the last meeting, please wear your shirts so we can represent our awesome group!  Also, please don’t forget about your entry level deposits.  See you all tomorrow!!
  • Spanish Club is having a parent meeting to talk about the upcoming trip to Costa Rica on Tuesday, October 23 at 6:30 in room 161. If you are a Spanish student in good standing and are interested in going on the trip to Costa Rica, then come with your parent to the meeting. Remember, it is tomorrow, October 23 at 6:30 in room 161.
  • Attention SAVE Environmental club!  Tuesday, October 23 is our fall hike at Squires Castle.  Meet after school in the planetarium so we can leave at 2:30.  Please drop off your permission slips and dress for the weather.  See Mr. Young or Mrs. Spivey if you have any questions.
  • Attention Students : There will be a Multicultural Fair this Wednesday October 24th at the Euclid Public Library. Come at 2:30 pm until 4pm. Raffle, Guest appearance by Big 40 and a authentic African drummer. Come enjoy the various cultural vendors!
  • Seniors - Do you need help submitting the FAFSA? Ms. Seymour from College Now will be at EHS Tuesday through Friday of this week.  Please stop by room 324 to make an appointment with Ms. Seymour.
  • Hey seniors! Do you want a senior quote in the yearbook? Order forms are available through your English teacher or in the media center. Please return them to 298 to secure your quote!
  • The band and orchestra will host their 7th annual pasta dinner on Wednesday, October 24, before the indoor marching band concert from 4:00-7:00pm in the Euclid High School cafeteria.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and includes admission to the concert.  The marching band will present their indoor marching band concert in the east gym at 7pm following the pasta dinner!  Admission is $3 if you come to the concert only.  The band and orchestra are sponsoring a fundraiser at fun and stuff in Macedonia on Friday, October 26 from 6-10pm.  Purchase a ticket in the band room.  If you need transportation, a bus will be provided leaving at 5:30pm.  Cost is $20 and includes laser tag, go-carts, golf, roller skating, bumper boats, and much more.
