  • Have you been practicing over winter break?  Are you referral free for the 2nd quarter?  Do you think your skills on the basketball court are good enough to defeat the one and only Mr. James, Ms. Jones and Mr. Guzik?  The student-staff basketball game will be played on Friday January 11th and the staff is ready to defend their title!  If you think you have what it takes to finally defeat the EHS staff and you are referral free for the 2nd quarter, please see Mrs. Valtman in Room 201 by Friday January 4th at 2:30 pm to sign up.  No applicants will be considered after this Friday at 2:30. See you on the court!
  • The next meeting of the National Honor Society will be Tuesday, January 8th after school in room 342.  See Mr. Zucca if you have any questions.
  • Attention Chinese Club!  We will have a Chinese Club meeting this coming Monday, January 7th.  This will be the very last day to collect permission slips and money for the Broadway show Miss Saigon.  The cost is $10 for a ticket and includes dinner.  Please come to the Monday Chinese Club meeting.
  • Attention all students!  Audition forms are now available outside Room 147 for the upcoming Black History Assembly.  Completed forms are due by January 13th.  If you are talented in dance, song or spoken word, please come forward!  Actual auditions are based on the forms submitted!  See Ms. Russo in Room 147 if you have any questions.
  • Euclid High School’s Concert Band will host the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. District Celebration Concert on Thursday, January 17th at 7:00pm in the Euclid High School Auditorium.  The concert will open with a performance of “Lift Every Voice and Sing” and end with Dr. King’s famous speech “I Have A Dream” as the band plays “The Civil War.”  Two special daytime performances will be presented on the morning of the concert: 2nd period for all 10th, 11th, and 12th Grade Classes, and 3rd period for all 8th and 9th Grade Classes.  All band members are required to attend dress rehearsal Wednesday, January 16th from 5pm until 7pm in the auditorium and 1st period on Thursday, January 17th before the two assemblies. Admission to the Concert is FREE!
