Morning Announcements - January 20, 2023

Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Engaged. Today is Friday, January 20, 2023 and these are your morning announcements.

The R-Factor builds RESILIENCE. All of us have experienced hard times throughout our lives. Some of us are going through difficult times right now. There are some events that you know before hand that you are not looking forward to, and may be unpleasant or difficult, however with the right mind set you can excel through it. Remember your mental state affects your physical performance, and how you talk to yourself on the inside, guides your actions on the outside. By focusing on what you can control you will make a positive difference in your life and the lives of others in your 20sq/ft, in our school, and in our community.

The PBIS team is announcing that we will have a Student vs. Faculty Basketball game in March!  In order to play against the teachers in this event, you MUST be referral free for the 3rd quarter!  And YES, tardies to class and class cuts count as referrals!  Please work hard this quarter to be referral free so you can participate!

The Girls Track Team ran yesterday at Spire.  Top Performers from meet were:  Eve Clark 1st place in all 4 events 60 Meter Dash, 200 Meter Dash, 4 x 200 Relay and 4 x 400 Relay.  Tamra Houston 4th Place 60 Meter Dash, 3rd place 200 Meter dash and 1st place 4 x 200 Relay, Dajanay Bailey 1st Place 4 x 200 and 4 x 400 Relay and 2nd place 60 M Hurdles.  Mia Douglas 1st Place 4 x 200 and 4 x 400 M Relay, Nandi Grant 4th Place Shot Put and Aniya Nevels 7th Place Long jump with a new personal record of 14 Feet.  The Girls and Boys will have a home meet next Wednesday at 4:30.
