Morning Announcements - April 18, 2023

Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Engaged. Today is Tuesday, April 18, 2023 and these are your morning announcements.

Attention students: State testing for American History and American Government is tomorrow. Room assignments are posted in the cafeteria. If you are testing, arrive at 7:15 with your charged Chromebook. If you are not testing, arrive at 10:5 AM.

Attention  all students:If you love TikTok dance and want to learn the latest moves please sign up for a FREE dance workshop with a professional choreographer. See the flyers in the cafeteria and register by QR code or see Ms Russo in Room H-115! The fun starts April 19th!

On Friday April 21st, we will be hosting a Tri C Program & Career Fair at Euclid High School.  Juniors and Seniors - more information will be coming soon - be sure to check your email for more details.  The event will take place in the East Gym from 9am until 11am.
 
Seniors! Applications for Prom Royalty will close on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 2:30pm. Selected candidates will be notified by school email on Monday, April 24, 2023. Voting for Prom Royalty will take place at Prom and the winners will be announced at the dance. If you have any questions, please see or email Ms. Hunt or Mrs. Walling.

Seniors! Cedar Point trip tickets are on sale NOW. Cedar Point permission forms are located outside of Ms. Hunt's office and must be signed by a parent, regardless of age, to purchase a ticket. Please see your email for ticket purchase dates and times. Email Ms. Hunt with any questions. Cedar Point tickets are $60. The last day to buy Cedar Point tickets is Monday, April 17th.

Good morning students! Can you be a student leader? Do you think you can help plan school events? Are you a positive role model for others? If so, Student Council wants you! There are a few requirements, such as - clean referral record - 2.0 cumulative GPA minimum - teacher recommendations. If you would like the opportunity to be part of Student Council, please pick
up an application from Mrs. P and Mrs. K in room 140C. Applications will be due MAY 12!

Happy Earth Week from the SAVE Environmental Club. Join us on Thursday for a Tree planting at Memorial Park. Also The Big Clean is this Saturday from 9-12 meet at VASJ. Don't forget to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle!

All Young Ladies interested in playing Girls basketball please see Coach Wilson to get Spring and Summer information.  We will be beginning off-season workouts next week!  Stop by room 366 to get information!

Attention, all students interested in learning how to wrestle!  Coach Webster is starting open mats this week.  Open mats will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:00 to 5:00.  These are voluntary workouts and everyone is welcome.

Sophomores! We are proud to announce that starting this fall, we will be offering a new Career Tech program called Music Production & Engineering! If you are interested in music & video production, concepts, theory, choreography, composition & ensemble and more, check your Euclid email for application information! These applications are due by Friday, April 21st. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Hunt in the Counseling Office or email her at khunt@euclidschools.org.

Attention Euclid High School! The award winning Panther Marching Band Battle of the Band Competition is April 22nd, from 2pm-6pm at the Doc Daughtery Gymnasium. Tickets are $15 at the door. There will be multiple high school marching bands participating in the competition, a 50/50 raffle, and will feature the best band in the land, the grand champion Euclid Panther Marching Band!
