Morning Announcements - April 28, 2023

Good morning Euclid High School where we are Respectful, Responsible, and Engaged. Today is Friday, April 28, 2023 and these are your morning announcements.

THE R-FACTOR - Take Ownership of your Mindset - Your response is your choice. You are responsible for your decisions and your behaviors. Use R-Factor Skills to assist in your decision making.

Attention Class of 2026.  Thank you all for a great job these past few days with scheduling your electives for next year.  Mrs. Wright will be available in the cafeteria Friday during all 3 lunch periods to answer your scheduling questions.  So if you want me to confirm that you selected your preferred electives, have questions about CCP classes or any general scheduling questions please come see me.  I will be in the cafeteria near the Auditorium.  Thanks Class of 2026.

Do you have an old unwanted cell phone lying around?  Help save the Gorillas and bring your old phone to Ms. Spivey in 230 E. The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo collects phones and recycles them. This helps prevent the need to mine an ore called Coltan that is found in the Congo, where the Gorillas live. The Eastern Lowland Gorilla population has declined 90% in the last five years. SAVE Club will meet this Thursday in room H230 E.

If you are interested in wrestling, the 2nd Annual Beat the Streets Cleveland 24/7 Camp is coming to the John Carroll University Campus June 12th through the 15th. This is an overnight camp which consists of a diverse array of high -level clinicians and some amazing off the mat programming like guest speakers, educational activities, team building and leadership sessions. For more information contact Coach Webster after school Tuesday or Thursday in the wrestling room.

Are you interested in joining the cheerleading squad? There will be an informational meeting for all students interested on Monday May 1st at 3:15 in the alumni room. Come get your questions answered about tryouts and learn what to expect for the upcoming season.

Bring out the best in you by pressing pause, getting your mind right, and cutting BCD out of your life, and have a great day at The Euclid High School.
